Ashlyn’s Resort 2025 Collection Updates Design Codes for a Traveling Customer

Ashlynn Park’s second resort collection continued her brand’s ethos of refined uniform dressing by offering new versions fit for her traveling customer.

“The aesthetic goal for the season is to add some different layers of different categories in the wardrobe for my client that I’m always missing during the main season,” Park said. “I set the theme as travel and journey, so we can add things in there for everyday life.”

Park focused on craftsmanship rather than ornamentation, something she’s become known for since launching her namesake label in 2019.

She updated her essentials with more functional fabrics, such as cotton jersey, ribbed knits, black crepe and organic cotton that gave her structured silhouettes an airy feel that fits in well with the vibe of the season.

Park continued to play with peplum styles for resort 2025, which added interest to simple silhouettes. This was seen in standout styles like a ribbed knit polo shirt with a matching skirt and a black crepe shirt with an ivory peplum detail.

The designer strived to offer a layer of functionality through elements such as hybrid fabrics and design details like pockets. One such piece was a hybrid wool carsey jacket, which was lightweight yet offered the warmth of wool. She also designed several styles with multifunctional pockets, which was a first for the usually minimal designer.

Altogether, Park’s resort 2025 collection displayed her ability to update her uniform dressing with new silhouettes and subtle details that showed her craftsmanship.
