Classic car road trip stops in Port Huron

Up to 400 classic cars are expected to arrive in Downtown Port Huron tomorrow as part of the Back to the Bricks promo tour. The tour started Friday in Jackson, and continued over the weekend as they traveled to Cadillac and Clare. Port Huron is the last stop on the tour, which is a precursor to the annual Back to the Bricks car show in Flint.  Director of Port Huron’s Downtown Development Authority, Natacha Hayden, tells WPHM that Huron Avenue from Glenwood to Quay will be closed at starting 11am Tuesday to accommodate the event. Cars are expected to start arriving by 4pm, with a concert at the McMorran plaza planned at 8pm. More information can be found at backtothebricks.org/promotour.
