Cole Swindell and The Beach Boys will perform at the 2024 California State Fair

Cole Swindell and The Beach Boys are joining the California State Fair this summer on the Golden 1 Stage. The country music singer and the rock band have been added to the list of performers at the Toyota Concert Series this year. Singer and songwriter Cole Swindell, known for country hits like “Let Me See Ya Girl,” “Ain’t Worth the Whiskey” and his debut single “Chillin’ It,” will perform at the fair’s concert series on July 14 at 8 p.m. Swindell also co-wrote the song “Nothin’ but the Cooler Left” on the “A.M.” album by Chris Young, who is also performing at the fair this year. The Beach Boys will perform on the Golden 1 Stage on July 26 at 8 p.m.Formed in 1961 in Hawthorne, Calif., the band charted over 80 songs worldwide between the 1960s and today, with 36 of them in the U.S. Top 40—the highest by a U.S. rock band. The classic surf rock band’s songs “I Get Around,” “Help Me, Rhonda,” “Good Vibrations” and “Kokomo” topped the Billboard Hot 100. Other performers announced for this year so far are Chris Young, performing on July 18, Flo Rida on July 23 and Bush on July 24. All concert shows at the California State Fair are free to attend, with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis for the first 700 guests. Organizers are encouraging fairgoers to line up at the back of the Golden 1 State venue starting at 5 p.m.The shows will also have reserved seats closer to the stage, starting at $25.
