    Deadpool & Wolverine Fan Art Imagines Lady Deadpool Cameo — And It’s Not Taylor Swift

    Fans continue to speculate about the cameos that might be seen in the upcoming film Deadpool & Wolverine. The latest teaser for the movie seemed to hint at an appearance from Lady Deadpool, though only the character’s legs were shown.




    On Instagram, the fan artist @itoonofficial on Instagram shared some artwork of the potential cameo. The art imagines Blake Lively, the star of Gossip Girl and Ryan Reynolds’ real-life wife, in the role of Lady Deadpool, joined by the titular characters. Given her relationship with Reynolds, it would make for a fun cameo, though it hasn’t been confirmed if Lively will appear in the movie, and if that would be the character she plays. In any case, a sneak peek at what Lively might look like in the role can be seen in the art below.

    Another possibility for the Lady Deadpool character is that Taylor Swift could be the one in the suit. While no such casting news has been officially announced, it’s long been rumored that Swift will show up in the film in one way or another. Lady Deadpool is one possible character that many fans have guessed the pop star might be portraying, though it’s also rumored she could be playing Dazzler, or even herself. However, it’s also been reported that Swift won’t have a role in the movie, but it’s not impossible that a cameo from the singer was filmed in secret.



    Who All Will Appear in Deadpool & Wolverine?

    “You know, movies like this…there’s so much speculation about so many people that might end up in the film,” Ryan Reynolds said of all of the cameo speculation in a Fandango interview. “I saw one that was convinced that Elvis is in the movie. Anything can happen, and that’s sort of what I love about this universe. Surprises are the essence of Deadpool.”

All of America knows I can’t answer that. I will say as I said earlier here at CinemaCon. The proliferation of rumors about who is and isn’t in this movie is fabulous. Because no one will ever know the truth until July 26,”

    Indeed, fans will not know for sure until they actually see the film. Deadpool & Wolverine will be released in theaters on July 26, 2024.
