Dim Sum Factory, which serves traditional cuisine of Shanghai China, opened its doors within the Flourtown Shopping Center on Thursday, May 9.

The BYOB Shanghai and Cantonese style restaurant is known for its dim sum, including soup dumplings, fried buns, shumai, scallion pancakes and more. The franchise first announced plans for the Flourtown location in October 2023.

“Everything’s been pretty good. Sunday was pretty packed,” a general manager told us. “We’re very excited to be here and we welcome everyone to come and try our famous dim sum.”

Their hours are 11:00am to 9:30pm Monday through Friday and Sunday. On Friday and Saturday, they are open from 11:00am to 10:30pm.
