Members of Mexican girl group JNS (Jeans) once again show their support for NewJeans, dismissing plagiarism allegations

Members of the Mexican girl group JNS (formerly Jeans) have spoken up once again to voice their support for the South Korean girl group NewJeans.

In a TikTok posted on May 25 KST, the members of JNS said, “How incredible to cross borders and have the 90’s come back with such a beautiful concept! Lots of love! To NewJeans, congratulations. It’s spectacular that they’ve taken the 90’s concept as a reference and so what an honour. Call us and it would be great to collaborate!”

@grupojns ¡Qué increíble traspasar fronteras y que los 90’s vuelvan con un concepto tan bonito! 🫰🏻🫰🏻🫰🏻 MUCHO AMOR PARA USTEDES. @NewJeans 🐰🌏 #NewJeans #Jeans #fy #fyp #parati #viral #howsweet #kpop #90s #90sthrowback ♬ sonido original – JNS

Toward the end of the video, the JNS members were also seen interacting with a Korean fan who seemed to have brought the recent plagiarism controversy to their attention.

Previously, allegations arose that NewJeans had copied the outfits, hairstyles, and concepts from the 90’s girl group Jeans
