SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) – A new Indian restaurant is scheduled to open Wednesday in downtown Spartanburg.

The new restaurant, Garlic & Ginger, will be located at 464 East Main Street.

The restaurant will offer a buffet for both lunch and dinner in its initial weeks, before expanding to a full plated dinner menu in the future.

Garlic & Ginger’s menu offers a broad variety of vegan, vegetarian and meat-friendly dishes like curry and biryani, tandoori plates and classic appetizers with signature house chutneys, Lassi, seven types of naan, paratha and roti.

The lunch hours listed for the restaurant are Tuesday-Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Dinner hours will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
