SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A new San Diego restaurant has been going viral on social media by transporting people back to ancient Rome.

Italian restaurant Roman Wolves opened Feb. 12, 2024 in Little Italy. The new Roman-inspired restaurant offers bruschette, zuppe (soups), pinse (Roman-style folded pizza crust), antipasti (starters), insalate (salads), pasta per sempre (pasta forever), secondi (main entrees), and even cheesewheel pasta served tableside, all curated by Chef Enrico de Santis.

Walk-ins are welcome at the restaurant, which is open seven days a week. Lunch is available on the weekends. Roman Wolves also offers Happy Hour specials.

The Italian restaurant has been featured in several Instagram posts since it opened in early 2024. Some reoccurring highlights of the new lunch and dinner spot include their Pinsa Caprese, Supplí, Abbacchio Scottadito, the aforementioned Truffle Cream Cheesewheel Pasta, Pappardelle with Meatballs, Pollo Alla Aacciatore, Bruschetta Alici & Burro, and you can’t forget Tiramisú, along with specialty cocktails like the Roman Empress, Gincident, Lo spritz al limone, Espresso Martini and Pornodivo Martini, just to name a few.

Roman Wolves is located at 1980 Kettner Blvd in San Diego’s Little Italy. Visit romanwolves.com to view their menu, for hours and more information on the new restaurant.
