If you’re on the hunt for antique-vintage, Sptize in the Berlin institution you need to know. You won’t find Berghain-ready fits here—Spitze’s vintage offerings stop at around 1960 and start at 1960s. What you will find are Victorian lace gowns, 1940s shirtwaist dresses, and everything in between. Plus, there are bolts of textile for fashion history buffs to admire. Opened in 1985, the shop was taken over by Katharina Göres in 2020.

Opened 2018 by the lead singer in the rising music duo Juno Francis, the shop was such a success, it’s since opened a second location in Gothenburg, Sweden, and it’s now become Francis’s full time gig. At the original location Neukölln, visitors can expect pieces like rare Kenzo kimono dresses, Roberto Cavalli showstopping maxi dresses, and studded Moschino denim. Per Francis, it’s where “the coolest cats in town” shop.
