The Kawasaki Ninja 300: What’s This Bike’s Top Speed & How Much Does One Cost? – SlashGear
With an MSRP beginning at $5,299, the Ninja 400 is not all that more expensive than a used Ninja 300. Plus, the Ninja 400 model comes with a more powerful 399cc engine, and you’ll get a 12-month limited warranty if you purchase it new. The 400 model is also more available, since it’s still being produced. So, unless you get a really good deal on something with low mileage and little wear and tear, it would make more sense to just get the newer bike. Outside of Kawasaki, there are other affordable 300cc motorcycles for new riders in production that will also make good options.
If speed is what you’re most interested in, the 2023 Ninja 400’s top speed also beats out the 300 model at 116.7 mph. You can likely surpass that with a favorable wind, although like the 300’s top speed, that’s not likely to be the average rider’s experience. Ultimately, it comes down to what you’re willing to spend. For budget-conscious buyers, a difference of several thousand dollars is enough to make or break the purchase.
