The owners, a couple with a young child, were living on D.C.’s Capitol Hill, and bought the Maryland house in 2020 as a second home. And after the attack on the Capitol on Jan. 5, 2021, they wanted 1025 Rio Lane to feel like it was a world away from Washington.
