We Want to Know Who Has the Best Cajun in Shreveport-Bossier City

Do you have a favorite Cajun restaurant here in Shreveport-Bossier City? We want to know about them. Here’s who made our list.

There seems to be this misconception floating around that we don’t appreciate Cajun cuisine up here in Shreveport-Bossier City, but let me tell you, that couldn’t be further from the truth! We’ve got some culinary gems tucked away in private kitchens all across NWLA, not to mention some fantastic Cajun restaurants right here in our own backyard.

I don’t care what time of year it is, when I’m craving a little spice in the form of comfort food, it’s time for some Cajun eats and it seems I’m not the only one! I came across this post from a local Reddit user named Markahm494 who posed the question: “Starting an argument… Who has the best Cajun food?” Naturally, places like Blind Tiger and Copeland’s immediately came to mind for me. And who could forget about classics like Herby K’s or Orlandeaux’s Cafe? But hey, everyone’s got their favorites, right?

Curious to see what others had to say, I took a dive into the comments, and let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised! There’s always something new to discover when it comes to good eats around here.

I haven’t been to Crawdaddy’s yet but I looked them up and they’re easy to find on Mansfield Road in Shreveport.

Amen! You have to include Bergeron’s on the list of best Cajun food in the area. It’s so good we’ve ordered our entire Thanksgiving meal from them before!

This is another place I’ve added to my list of restaurants to check out. And for the record, I don’t think they care if you’re purple, just as long as your money is green and you tip well.

One of my friends works next to Loosiana Seafood, so it’s our go-to place for lunch dates. They make a mean cocktail, too!

So, that begs the question. What’s your go-to restaurant for Cajun food in the Shreveport-Bossier City area? I’d love to hear from you. Shoot me an email at erin.bristol@townsquaremedia.com or send me a message through the app!
