WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — There were plenty of cars for folks to check out, along with food trucks and raffles.
The event featured the nonprofit STAAR, an ovarian cancer research organization.
There was also a job fair with companies in the fabrication, engineering, robotics, and welding industry.
“It’s wonderful to see people in support of it. In addition, we had local companies like NEPIRC, they brought a couple of their companies along that they work with, and they will be donating to it too. So we’re also helping with careers at the same time. So it’s just a wonderful thing for the community,” said Blaise Napierkowski, Junior Mechanical Engineering Student.
Proceeds from the car show in Wilkes-Barre will go to STAAR.
