Good news, Cincinnati drivers! You can save a couple bucks while filling up your tank today at multiple Greater Cincinnati gas stations.
According to a press release from GasBuddy, a company that crowd-sources gas station locations and prices in the United States and Canada, average gasoline prices in Cincinnati have fallen approximately 11 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.25 per gallon on Monday.
The cheapest station in Cincinnati throughout a 24-hour period from Sunday to Monday was the Circle K on 677 West Chester Road in West Chester Township, as it had regular gas priced at $2.93 per gallon. The Marathon at 8103 Camargo Road in Madeira was the most expensive, priced at $3.99 per gallon for regular gas.
According to the Gas Buddy website, there are approximately 14 other stations with gas priced at $2.99 or less per gallon.
GasBuddy’s survey includes nearly 150,000 stations nationwide and is updated 288 times daily. Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy, said gas prices have dropped in nearly every state in the last week, and he expects additional declines in gas and diesel prices ahead of Independence Day on July 4.
